Heel Area: Based on consumer reviews that I studied, this boot has a rather narrow toe area compared to the heel. Note on the price: One thing to keep in mind on a purchase of the Frye Campus Maxine boot is the fact that various merchants who carry them often offer markdown prices or offer sales on various colors. There also very well may be discount merchants who consistently have them in stock for lower prices than retail.

Overall I would recommend a purchase for the Frye Campus Maxine despite the few reports of the fitting. They are a beautiful boot - a good description of them would be "a more feminine version of the Classic Frye Campus". Gorgeous leather, general style and overall very nice reviews from the ladies who wear them.
