Choosing the Right Thigh High Boots

When the seasons change from hot to cool, you know it is boot season. There are a lot of women that think that thigh high boots can be worn in limited instances. The truth is that they can be worn for nearly any occasion that you can think of, from a day at the office to a night on the town with the girls. You just have to know how to choose the right pair of boots for each specific occasion.
One of the first points to consider is the exactly what material the boots are made from. Obviously you want something that is going to be comfortable, but it also needs to work with the clothes you already have and you want it to look sexy as well don't you?
If you are planning to buy a pair of boots for special occasions or a special outfit, think about how long you will be wearing them. Certain materials, like patent leather, are great accessorizing aspects, but if you intend to wear them for longer periods they may not be the right thigh high boots for what you have in mind.
Another point to consider when choosing the right thigh high boots is the heel size. With the many different styles that you can find, you can choose the right thigh high boots that have the most comfortable heel size. Remember the golden rule for heels: tall and skinny are great for a date, but short and fat help you last. Stilettos, for example, are great for burning a few hours of the night, but they are not the right thigh high boots for an 8 hour day.
You are assured to look good when wearing your boots, you just need to do the eternal balancing act. Trying to look good and turn heads while also being able to walk at the end of the night when you get home. No one ever said it was easy looking great did they?
